Counselling Young People

younstersCounselling young people between the ages of 14-25 years old are going through a period of establishing themselves as individuals drawing on their previous experience and at the same time rejecting that experience to find out who they are. Of course this process carries on through adult life: but as a young person this is one of the most significant times of development and change.
Engaging with the counsellor at a regular time and place is a challenging experience for some before they have begun to explore their issues.
These can include – Living at home, leaving home, bereavement, sex and sexuality, depression and anxiety, peer pressure, relationships, separation, family, and many others.
