SCoPEd is an Ethical FrameWork created by a Consortium of Counselling & Therapy Organisations (PCPB) led by
the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
It is a contentious topic which as created a lot of argument: which I’m not going to go into here.
As part of this process Counsellors by qualifications are aligned in to 3 Columns of A B C
I am/was a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor Supervisor in Column C.
Now we are reassigned to Column B as our qualifications are not seen to align to Column C
We have the opportunity to re-apply for Senior Accreditation to return to Column C by evidencing our long clinical experience
