Harringey, Harringay, Haringey, and Haringay?
There are so many ways to spell Haringey a diverse North London Borough that is confusing and off putting to the visitor and anyone who is trying to promote their business in the borough!!
One is a place the other is a district and the other is a train station!
There is lots of information on Haringey Online – a local community group that can say it better than I can!
But is a wonderfully diverse and colourful borough where there is always something happening. Sure it has its problems: but for the vast majority of people going about their business it is a great place to be. From boating in Finsbury Park to eating on Green Lanes to looking across London from Alexander Palace it is a borough of difference and tolerance. Enjoy!
